GENERAL
Skin Temperature Thermocouples/RTDS are used for accurate measurement of boilers or process pipe surface temperatures
1150 temperature limit
4.8 and 6 diameters standard, 316SS or 310SS or Inconel 600 sheath generally used
(do not use Inconel 600 in the presence of sulfer)
Type K/RTD with ungrounded Junction standard
Weld pad can be mounted horizontally or vertically
150 long by 25 wide radiation shield available
For rapid response, use vertical weld pads shown in left side of photograph. Pad material is the same as the sheath material
